TLDR summary: We need to make a decision about allowing people without accounts to edit here by September 18, 2021.
Fandom made a lot of changes across all wikis in the last year to fix problems and to get their wikis to line up with the current version of the MediaWiki software wikis run on. The side effect is that any wiki that has the Message Wall enabled, like this one, can no longer talk to people that don't have an account.
That means whenever there's a problem, there's no way to communicate with that person without an admin blocking them. First, that's not always appropriate. Admins should try to talk with a person first to make them aware of any policies or procedures that say they should do something different. Setting a block shoul…
For some fricking reasons, there's now a limit for how many files you can put in a page. If it reaches 5,000,000, you will get a text saying that it reached the 5,000,000 mark, meaning you can't upload any more images on the page.
But don't worry, I made a solution. I split it into two pages.
Motion Picture Association/Credits Variants (for the beginning all the way through the 2007, when it reached the limit.)
Motion Picture Association/Credits Variants (2008-present)
(Make sure to do the same for the second one when it reaches the limit.)
Alternative version with the blue and red parts switched places, used for their superstores.
Following A&P's acquisition, the blue and red parts were removed from the logo. In November 2015, Pathmark went defunct due to bankruptcy, but in January 2019, Pathmark announced their comeback by opening a new location in Brooklyn, with more stores planned for 2020.
And also Pathmark will come back to Long Island in East Meadow to take over former Home Depot, which The Home Depot in East Meadow is so dirty and rusty. And also Pathmark will take over King Kullen & Wild by Nature supermarkets. Because of COVID-19, STOP&SHOP will not take over King Kullen stores.
220.127.116.11 has been vandalising this wiki with false information so I am fixing the pages up.
Eden II Programs is an agency that serves children and adults diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder throughout New York City and Long Island. Eden II was founded by six families in 1976, beginning on Staten Island with just six children and one special education teacher. The mission of Eden II Programs is to support people with autism throughout their lives to achieve their full potential through service, science, and passion. Over the past 40 years, Eden II's highly successful model has led to the expansion and development of a number of programs and services for individuals with autism. In 1994, Eden II opened its preschool program to serve children with autism, ages 3–5. This intensive program focuses on learning readiness skills, …
A level crossing (1958-2023) is an intersection where a railway line crosses a road or path, or in rare situations an airport runway, at the same level, as opposed to the railway line crossing over or under using an overpass or tunnel. The term also applies when a light rail line with separate right-of-way or reserved track crosses a road in the same fashion. Other names include railway level crossing, grade crossing, road through railroad, railroad crossing, train crossing, and RXR (abbreviated). RXR will be removed very soon in Long Island and will become RR Over Pass in all its grade crossings.
This newly-proposed Jackson Avenue Bridge (Grade Crossing Elimination) (2025-upcoming) will replace the grade crossing for safety also RXR…
Interstate 495 (I-495), commonly known as the Long Island Expressway (LIE), is an auxiliary Interstate Highway in the U.S. state of New York. It is jointly maintained by the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), the New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT), MTA Bridges and Tunnels (MTAB&T), and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ).
Spanning approximately 71 miles (114 km) along a west–east axis, I-495 traverses Long Island from the western portal of the Queens–Midtown Tunnel in the New York City borough of Manhattan to CR 58 in Riverhead in the east. I-495 intersects with I-295 in Bayside, Queens, through which it connects with I-95. A roughly 5-mile (8.0 km) gap in official Interstate designatio…
I was able to adopt the wiki a few weeks ago and while there is still a lot of vandalism to clean up, I see that there is some other kind of cleanup we need to do. Specifically, return to the subject of this wiki.
This is the Logo Timeline wiki. That means we want to show how a logo changes over the years. But what I'm seeing is that we're putting in examples of every place the logo is seen.
So let's clarify that. A logo changes means one of the following is different:
- A different shape of the logo.
- A different typeface (font) is used for the logo.
- A different color is used, and it can be shown that this was a corporate decision to change the official color of the logo.
What doesn't qualify:
- When the same logo is seen on a different color backgro…
We have a situation where a couple of people are intent on that RRabbit42 will not adding without false information here. It looks like that's going to continue for a while, so yesterday, I started the process to get the wiki adopted.
That step was to contact the people that have been here recently and have made the most edits. Those people are:
